Heavy-duty starter launched into African market
Heavy-duty auto electrical trading and technical design company Shelhurst is celebrating the launch of its Prestolite KB starter motor series into the Southern African market next month.
Shelhurst MD Ray Sheldrake tells Mining Weekly that the starter is a new initiative from Prestolite to fill the gap between cheap pirate parts being imported from the East, and extremely expensive original equipment (OE) parts, without sacrificing performance or reliability.
